They're estimates, not measurements. AI vision does a good job identifying most foods and roughly sizing them from a photo, but real portion, oils, sauces, and cooking method vary a lot. Treat Caloro like a fast, in-the-ballpark helper — not a scale-and-nutrition-label replacement. Menu estimates in particular are approximate.
Pricing is shown in the app before you are charged. On iOS, any paid features are billed through Apple's App Store.
Tap the meal on the Home screen. You'll get an Edit Meal window where you can change the name, calories, and macros. The edited numbers are what count toward your daily totals.
You don't have to. The second photo helps portion accuracy but is completely optional. On iPhone Pro devices with LiDAR, the app uses the depth sensor automatically so no second angle is needed.
In the app: Profile → Delete Account. Type DELETE to confirm. Your profile, meals, activities, water logs, saved menus, and streak history are permanently deleted. This can't be undone.
Home screen → tap the meal → Delete. Or Profile → History → swipe on the meal you want to remove.
The streak counts consecutive calendar days on which you logged at least one meal, in your local time zone. Skip a day and it resets to 1 on your next log. If you think this is wrong (for example, you logged something but the streak dropped), email us with your account email and roughly when — we can investigate.
On the sign-in screen tap Forgot password? and enter your email. You'll receive a reset link at that address. Check your spam folder if you don't see it — our sending domain is new and messages sometimes land there while it earns reputation.
If you chose "Hide My Email," Apple gave us a relayed address that forwards to your real inbox. Email us at hello@caloriecam.app from the address you use with Apple ID and we can help you back in.
No. Photos go to our AI providers (OpenAI for food photos, Google Gemini for menu photos) only for the analysis that produces your result. We don't sell data and we don't share it for advertising. Full detail in the Privacy Policy.

If you have diabetes, a food allergy, kidney disease, an active or past eating disorder, or any condition where diet matters clinically, talk to a qualified healthcare professional or registered dietitian before relying on any calorie-tracking app — including this one.
The web version at caloriecam.app works on any modern browser, including Android. A native Android app is planned but not out yet.
